The Machina Federation was the main political faction for a rebellious organization of cyborgs created by the Precursors called the Machina. 18 centuries after the extinction of the Precursors, the Machina's awakened from advanced cyrogenic sleep, and created a large empire. However, their borders met with the UGA's, and they were forced to fight both Covenant Remnants and the UGA. They lost a considerable amount of territory and eventually were destroyed by the UGA.
